The Bell tables investigate the structural properties of sheet plastic normally used as surface lamination. 
By forming a concertina, the table folds out to form a sturdy matrix that is six times it's original volume. 
The sweeping interior of the tables is informed by the contours of brass instruments, this gives an otherwise two dimensional material an unexpected and beautifully fluid three dimensional form.

A water-jet cut polyethylene foam component. The component in profile takes the form of a chair. When two chairs are joined together they form a building block. En masse, these building blocks connect to each other to form furniture landscapes. The adaptable nature of the design blurs the boundary between inanimate objects and the built environment.

An alternative approach to upholstery. 
This modular seating system can be built to suit any size or shaped floor plan. 
The system has a rigid interlocking extruded core. 
This core is then clad with small injection moulded foam components of varying densities. 
These components provide upholstery that can be arranged in any colour or density combination and fitted for purpose.
