Hidden Art designer-makers make up a significant part of London's design industry. The first Hidden Art Open Studios took place in 1994 under the banner of Hidden Art of Hackney. The proliferation of small studios around areas of east London lead to the development of the creative zones for which London is renowned.

The Hidden Art Open Studios map will be available from early November, detailing venues and designer-makers participating in the event. Members of the public can request a map by contacting Hidden Art, phone: 020 7729 3800, email: victoria@hiddenart.co.uk, or download a map and listings from www.hiddenart.com/openstudios.
