HIDDEN ART OPPORTUNITIES
Hidden Art and 100% Futures
Over the past 10 years or so, a
close partnership has developed between Hidden Art and 100% Design.
Hidden Art brings a wealth of new UK designers' talent to 100% Design,
consistently showcasing exciting products and innovative designers; 100% Design
has provided almost £50,000 worth of support to Hidden Art members
participating in the show.
What’s on offer?
100% Design would like to offer all
Hidden Art members the opportunity to win a stand of around 40m² to 60m² of
exhibition space on which to build their own installation* in our new and
exciting forum for creative talent, 100% Futures.
This is your opportunity to create
something different and unexpected in a creative and fresh arena. We realise
that the space you take is usually constrained by budget – this is your
opportunity to branch out and do something different.
The criteria for the installation is
open; you can explore a current theme or topic in the design industry; showcase
a project or product you are working on or simply showcase your company in an
interesting and unconventional manner. The winner will be chosen by the 100%
Design panel (see website for further details of panel members). For more

The mentoring programme is being run to create a support structure
that will provide emerging jewellery designers with access to a sympathetic ear
from a wide range of 'industry insiders', in what can often be a lonely
business.
After the year of 1 to 1 support from mentors who are experienced
and knowledgeable in their field, the selected group will have the opportunity
to meet event and show organisers, retailers and key figures from the jewellery
industry. They will be able to showcase their work, discuss the progress they
have made during the programme and prove that Mentoring does indeed Matter.
The mentoring programme will run from January 2008 - January 2009
and the information sheets and application forms are attached for both mentees
and mentors.
Please note:
