London Design Festival
Hidden Art designer-makers are an active bunch. On top of our one100TEN stand at 100% Design, we also have a number of members active throughout the rest of the London Design Festival, here we list just a few of our designer-makers.
 
100% East, Truman Brewery, 21-24 September. Featuring Hidden Art's Gareth Neal Furniture, Luke Carson- No More Grey, Snowden Flood - Snowden Designs, Derek Union - Form & Union.
 
Ceramics in the City is a three-day fair running from 22-25 September. Featuring the work of 47 potters, demonstrations and activities for the kids, it offers a ceramic haven as part of London Design Festival.

Crib 5 and Scene have built an inspiration constellation. In their studio in Shoreditch. With furniture, lighting, animation and fine art; collaborating and contributing. Including work by Susan Bradley, Chris Gascoigne, James Harris, Zebedee Helm, Mike Moloney, Pearson Lloyd, Pinch, Scene and Magnus Scholz. From 18-22 September, 10.00-17.00. Deepa Panchamia is displaying her work at Vet Ltd, Hoxton Square during the London Design Festival.
Deepa's new collection - a network of energetic pleated panels- interact with the surrounding space exploring notions of aesthetics, rhythm and continuity.
Visitors are also invited to add paint and create a third dimension to Jenny Wilkinson's Wallpaper-By-Numbers; see the timeless elegance in Ute Decker's handcrafted jewellery and pen a haiku poem on the wall.

IYDesign is a curated exhibition showcasing hand-picked pieces from 20 of the UK's most up-and coming designers. The exhibition introduces exciting new work from furniture makers, interior and exterior product designers, ceramicists, lighting designers and graphic artists. IYDesign will be hosted in the Fuse studio on Broadway Market. Fuse will be holding their IYDesign party, running in conjunction with Broadway Farmers Market throughout Saturday the 23rd September. The Exhibition will be open from 10am to 6pm Wednesday 20 until Sunday 24 September.
 
Liz Emtage Ceramics has teamed up with the printmaker Kim Robertson to make a new kind of chandelier. Come along to stand H94, 100% Design at Earls Court 2, 2st - 24th September to see the latest lighting designs.

London Glassblowing are holding "Evaluation" - projects in glass and metal. Displaying models, maquettes and graphics of commissioned architectural projects showing work in progress, together with finished pieces.

London Printworks Trust presents Departure, an interactive experience featuring Action Time Vision, Linda Florence, Christopher Pearson, Simon Elvins and Rhian Solomon. Departure runs from 15 September - 27 October, Monday to Saturday, 11am-6pm. Unit 7, Brighton House, 9 Brighton Terrace, London, SW9 8DJ.
 
Nomoregrey, a converted factory, art gallery and design showroom, will display design, contemporary applied arts and contemporary art, side by side. This will be the first of many shows aimed at addressing the increasing amount of work that sits in the grey area between art & design (20-30Sep, 1-6pm Mon-Sun (launch party 6-late Friday)). It will include furniture, lighting, ceramics, glass & wall art.

Featuring, among others, the following Hidden Art members: Arris Design, Caroline Raffan, Kate Goldsworthy, Jasper Startup, Pli Design, Ryan Frank, Spinifex and WEmake.
 
Ryan Frank (bottom image) will be designing the bars, seating and public space at 100% East in collaboration with Jimmy Mcdonald during the London Design Festival.
 
Susan Bradley will be exhibiting at 3 different venues:100% Design, stand D90, Earls Court, London (21-24 September 2006), DesignUK at Liberty, Regent Street, London (20-30 September 2006) and at the exhibition ‘In Production’ by The Future Laboratory, The Truman Brewery, London (15-30 September 2006).
 
Suzanne Thornton has been selected to exhibit her designer glass at London Design Festival, Brick Lane, between 21-24 September 2006.
 
Highly decorated Hidden Art members Charles Trevelyan and Magnus long will also be displaying work at the Design Museum under the banner Viable during the London Design Festival.
