This year’s Hidden Art Tailored Support Programme aims to assist you in developing and selling your work. It does this by offering a range of options that are tailored to your specific needs and discipline - whether you are focusing on designing and making, or design prototypes for manufacture. The focus is on smart growth, using innovative collaborations that will enable you to grow despite the recession. There is a strong emphasis on learning from those who have achieved similar goals, and networking, which has consistently proven itself to be very effective and successful.

Forum 2009 - Hidden Art Annual Forum – Growing Through Recession - Open to All members
Aims: Now in its 10th year, the Hidden Art Forum aims to provide designers and designer-makers with a wider understanding of how the industry operates with a view to increasing sales.
 
Networking Sessions - Open to all members
Networking sessions aim to provide an informal forum for members to network with other designers and industry professionals, share ideas and concerns and seek advice on a variety of relevant topics. Each session will give designers insight into the relevant topic, key to the successful running of your business.
 
One-to-One Consultancy Sessions - Open to London Level 2 members
One-to-Ones aim to give personalised advice to designer-makers regarding crucial areas of developing their work and business. The information will be tailored to suit the attending designer.
 
Support Vouchers - Open to London Level 2 members
Level 2 Members can apply for a voucher of up to £100 to pay for up to 50% of a training, consultancy session, or support service from a Hidden Art Associate member or Pool of Specialists member, or for a research visit to a trade fair or stand costs with an associate show.
 
Innovative Routes to Market - Open to London Level 2 members
Running for its fourth year, Innovative Routes to Market 2009 aims to assist anyone wishing to get further assistance developing their work from an idea into production and into the marketplace.
Assistance with this process can be selected from the following list:
Run in association with the London Metropolitan Polymer Centre and Peter Cracknell (PSC Associates) this programme will help you to convert a concept into a design that is suitable for manufacturing and fit for purpose.
This session will help your product development, direct you to fresh avenues for research and find solutions. Access to the extensive resource library will be made available.
In its third year, this range is being developed with the long-term goal of securing a merchandise license in 2009-2010 to tender for the 2012 Olympics. In September 2009 the range will be soft-launched to coincide with the London Design Festival.

You will be able to find a wealth of information on the Hidden Art website as well as in the Hidden Art library.
 
Participants in Hidden Art events and projects receive tailored support to help them make the most of their involvement.
