As one of the richest nations in the worls Switzerland is an established market for interior products. Traditionally the Swiss have been know for their excellence in precision engineering and manufacturing, and it is this prevailing industrial aesthetic which carries over into the majority of design.  More recently however, a new wave of younger designers such as the Freitag Brothers have debunked the cliches of watches and chocolates by creating quirky and cutting edge products.
