NEW SUBSCRIPTIONS - the office library now has copies of Selvedge: a magazine dedicated to textiles in every context: fine art, interiors, fashion, travel and shopping, and Crafts: published by the Crafts Council, covering all craft forms from studio work to public commissions, from modern experimental work to traditional and historic designs.
NEW IN: We have subscribed to Material Connexion, the largest global resource of new materials. You can make an appointment to visit the Hidden Art Bureau and access this invauable online database of over 2,000 innovative materials representing eight categories: polymers, glass, ceramics, carbon-based materials, cement-based materials, metals, natural materials and natural material derivatives.
Hidden Art encourages collaborations between designers and manufacturers.
A database of useful contacts for Manufacturers and Suppliers of materials is available, together with detailed descriptions of the processes, new technologies and services provided.

The Hidden Art Pool of Specialists provides members with access to advice and consultancy from individuals with personal experience of the sector.
Mazorca Projects manages this network by matching up requests for training and support with suitable specialists and mentors. Members can consult the online directory of Pool Specialists.
The Hidden Art Press Directory consists of over 1000 contacts in local, national and international media. It also includes a large number of freelance design journalists details.
We have put together a new international section in the library in the Hidden Art office, to give you a snapshot of the design industry in a number of countries and regions of the world, for example, Europe, Japan, Central Europe, Australia, Africa, North and South America.
This new section of the Hidden Art library is dedicated to International Design Markets. It aims to give you a snapshot of each major region or country's design scene including market reports, details of design organisations, major trade fairs, retailers and designers.
