In 2010 Hidden Art and
The East London Design Show (or
ELDS) are teaming up to create
the must-visit Christmas shopping event.
This year 47 bursaries are being offered to Hidden Art members, to use towards taking a stand at ELDS. Collaboration like this allows us to bring the vibrant designer-makers and designers of Hidden Art to one of the most respected independent Christmas shopping events.
All Bursaries have now been awarded.
ELDS has its origins in Hidden Art’s own Open Studios, with Director of ELDS Della Tinsley selling through (and allowing others to sell through) her independent studio in 1995. In 1996 this developed into the Shoreditch Studio Sale in the Shoreditch Town Hall, promoted as part of the Open Studios, which then evolved into East London Design Show in 1998. 2010 marks the 15th show at Shoreditch Town Hall, and ELDS continues to offer a great platform for independent designers to sell their work.
