Coupling functionality with striking lines, Jake Phipps made a very well received debut in Milan.

 

His Tron stool prototype’s portability and futuristic folding method set him apart and caught the attention of young designers and design fans.

 

Meanwhile his Stem table’s classic lines won over the more traditional design lovers, with an unmistakable Phippsian stamp on the lines.

 

Success was had by Jake elsewhere in the Rho Fiera as well, as Thonet displayed his folding chair
