The display put together by
Julian Mayor at Milan was a supreme visual feast. Suspending his
Clone and
General Dynamic chairs in mid air, he allowed for full 360-degree access to his work and highlighted the polygonal design influences in his work.
Clone features thin layers bound together to form the traditional shape of a high-backed chair. Of a more modern design,
General Dynamic features a low slung profile, offering a futuristic and hard-edged seating alternative. By hanging the chairs form the ceiling, Julian Mayor took his two very functional products and turned them into an abstract, thought provoking display.
