Amplifier
Amplifier in Milan 2006
Amplifier’s Florian Kremb showed Milan his Floor/Wall Chair. This seemingly cartoon inspired stool plays with the basic semiotics involved in one of our most common objects, the chair. The striking symmetry of the wall and floor legs force the user to reconsider the fundamental function of the object, while also invoking a ‘play’ mentality with the playful green colour scheme. Floor/Wall Chair continues Amplifier’s line of playful objects which toy with and reinvent the signals offered by society’s most banal objects.
