This year we had two winners in the Most Dedicated
Supporters category.
UBS Investment Bank has supported Hidden Art since
1992 through a variety of projects, including the schools project, exhibitions
at UBS Investment Bank and specialist advice. Ben Whittle has been a member of
our Advisory Panel since 1998 and has been instrumental in advising on
developing our web strategy since 2000, and assisted us with setting up our
first E-Shop in 2000. This became a good basis to develop our current E-Shop,
successfully launched last November 2005. His and UBS’s involvement have
enabled us to slowly develop our website and IT strategy enabling us to become
more effective and expand our remit globally. This year UBS also supported our
members through their UBS Challenge programme as well as the Innovative Routes
to Market. UBS Investment Bank also funded this year's Schools project, Hidden
Treasure. The Corporate Social Responsibility programme of UBS provides model
for other corporate companies.
City
Fringe Partnership
City Fringe Partnership has
supported Hidden Art since 1998 and enabled us to extend our remit wider than
just Hackney. Their initial funding contributed to securing our first European
Funding in 1999. Subsequently they have
enabled us to move into our current premises in 2001 through a grant, which
gave us time to develop a funding package to purchase the premises in
2003. Their research, reports and
in-depth knowledge of the area have provided guidance to many organisations in
the area, including ourselves, for which we are very gfreateful. This year they are leading on a project to
assist manufacturers and make designer-makers manufacturer ready, in which we
are a partner. Through this Award we would also like to thank the LDA with whom
the CFP is working closely.
This award was presented by Hidden Art's CEO Dieneke Ferguson.
