I am a textile designer/artist specialising in printed textiles using Computer Aided Design to create Art and Design for home and Commercial Space. I am fascinated with the cultural differences across our world's cities and I am intrigued by how travelling contributes so much to our personal happiness. I create bespoke textile art and design based on personal travel experiences. My commission service creates textiles from your own experiences, taking your memories of favourite places and displaying them in your home or commercial space. I also have a collection of limited edition prints and cushions based on London, New York, Paris and Marrakech. The main aim for my work is that it has the essence of the place on which it is based, I want to achieve a visual exploration of why we visit these places and what makes them so special. I achieve this in a number of ways, perhaps the research before the practice is the most important part of my work as this is when I begin to understand the place I am working on, what makes it tick, its culture.
