SharonWalsh transforms existing fabrics into bespoke textiles for fashion andinterior applications inspired by manipulating surface patterns andtextures. Each fabric is individually designed using a combination ofinnovative print and embroidery techniques onto layered fabrics tocreate ‘limited edition’ collections for retailers and exclusive,one-off designs for private clients. Sharon’s unique approach totextiles won her the runner-up prize in The New Designer Of The YearAward 2004 and since this prestigious event she has continued toexhibit and sell her work in the UK and internationally. Her work isparticularly well-suited to both large and small scale commissions.
