During my last year of university, I produced products made from thread and resin. They are small, light rectangular pieces that are hung on nylon wire to create a hanging installation. Each piece is handmade from resin either with thread, dyed plastic, handmade beads or cut-outs. They are transparent so light can shine through the beautiful colours and shapes, which will bounce off into the room. The hanging installation can be used in many different ways such as a room divider, on a wall and also in front of a window. These pieces can also be used to make boxes, key rings, coasters, necklaces and broaches.
