Print Maker Helen Minns’ design philosophy embraces the imperfections and uniqueness of natural materials and craft based techniques.
A love of drawing and mark-making, combined with a modern aesthetic of clean lines and silhouettes makes her style truly unique.
Often inspired by the wild life and landscapes of Great Britain, Helens’ current work is based around images of ‘Game Birds and Wild Fowl of Great Britain’. She has been working on series of etchings which combine fine hand-cut silhouettes of birds with multiple textured plates. From these original prints she has developed new images for her classic interior collection of light shades and cushions hand printed on natural linen.
