Bell & Spoon was started in 2006 by sculptor Oona Ball as a ‘space’ in which to produce work outside of a fine art sculpture practise.
Bell & Spoon products are made using a mix of traditional and contemporary techniques including the lost wax process. Many of the objects used are 'direct' casts, this means that the original object is lost during the process of obtaining a single unique cast.
Bell & Spoon jewellery appropriates objects ranging from natural forms, such as birds skulls, wasps and acorns to old Christmas cracker toys, little cow’s and Victorian binoculars.
