Kate Baden Fuller is a glass artist using a variety of techniques to create glass features for architecture and interiors. She uses sandblasted and acid etched float glass as well as the traditional hand blown glass and lead to make windows, internal partitions and freestanding panels. She also works with mirror glass.
‘All my work is commissioned and is designed specifically for the site - office, public building, church or private house. Each site calls for an individual approach so that the finished work is in sympathy and scale with the building and reflects the interests of the client. Glass is a wonderful, beautiful, magical material, light and colour are trapped in transparency. I hope that people will enjoy my work and their lives will be enriched by looking at it. My work is mostly abstract although I sometimes employ figurative and representational themes‘.
