Inspired by the evocative shapes and colours that she finds in unexpected places, Georgina Griffiths creates glasswork that is both seductive and intriguing. Her current work is based on images from science and the urban environment, and includes fused and printed glass coasters, one-off vessels and platters, lightboxes, wall panels, jewellery an cufflinks. Her pieces are created using a range of techniques, including screen-printing, hand painting, etching and kiln-forming.

   
Georgina also designs architectural glass for both domestic and commercial settings. She is currently completing a large-scale public artwork for an office building in central London, which is due to be installed in early 2010.
