About

   

Caroline's creates landscape panels, dishes, lighting and sculptures in kiln-formed glass, frequently being inspired by landscape, animals, trees, plants and birds. She includes in her collection items from recycled glass and lamps that can be used with low energy bulbs. Commissions are welcome, and taster days in fused glass are available by request.

Commissions

30 October 2007 – London Remade - Designof 5 recycled glass dishes for the Mayor’s Green Procurement Awards forpresentation at the Globe Theatre, London.
   
November2006 – commissioned by Whitehall and Westminster World to make 13awards in recycled glass (with Ralph Hutchings – photographer and wooddesigner/maker) for the first Civil Service Awards, sponsored by theCabinet Office and Ernst and Young, to be presented in November 06.
   
May 2006 commission to make a presentation dish in recycled glass for London Development Agency/Bywaters Ltd.
   
November2005  - winner of competition to design and make 5 awards made fromrecycled materials, for presentation to outstanding businesses at theMayor of London’s Green Procurement Awards - www.Londonremade.com

Awards

April 2007 – shortlisted for the 2007 British Female Inventors & Innovators Awards - BFIIN awards.
Global Women Inventors & Innovators Network (GWIIN) awards in the Sustainability category, for designing and making awards and productsin recycled glass. This event is supported by Equalitec, the Departmentof Trade and Industry (DTI), London Metropolitan University, UK Trade& Investment, National Physics Laboratory, London Remade and Business Link London amongst other organisations.
   
Caroline won a competition to design awards made from recycled materials, to beused in a presentation for the Mayor of London’s Green Procurement Awards on 8th November 2005 www.Londonremade.com
