Jackie Choi is a contemporary furniture design business based in London. Jackie Choi is made up of South Korean sisters Jackie and Lloyd Choi. Jackie’s background is in furniture design and Lloyd’s background is in fashion design. Jackie Choi formerly started over a year and a half ago and has been focusing on bringing first products to market. Jackie Choi designs for one of the UK’s leading furniture companies (Boss Design) as well as manufacturing Jackie Choi’s own products. Jackie Choi’s longer term ambition is to establish Jackie Choi as a stand alone furniture brand with a complete range of furniture and accessories. Jackie Choi has already attracted considerable media and trade attention through the acclaimed ‘Furniture Works’ initiative. This included an eight week stint exhibiting her designs in London’s DKNY stores as part of the Donna Karan New York Emerging Talent 2003 and many more exhibitions. Jackie Choi makes furniture with a very strong emotional quality, combined with intelligent functionality. We create sophisticated, elegant and appealing furniture designs that have an instantly classic feel about them.
