I am a designer craftsman making fine furniture at my home workshop in Essex. I work mainly in solid wood and high quality veneers using European and American hardwoods. I work alone. The only hands to touch the furniture on its journey from the timber stack to the client’s home will be mine. I take great care to select only the finest quality materials from trusted sources. I use traditional and modern construction techniques and take whatever time is necessary to achieve perfection. Discerning people demand the highest quality, and recognise that, in a world of mass production, individual design is at a premium. I create bespoke pieces to their personal requirements. When they invest in my furniture, they get a piece that will give them a lifetime of joy and pleasure, whether using it, touching it, or just being in the same room as it. Fashions come and go, but Fine Furniture designed with care and made with skill is enduring. I create heirlooms of tomorrow. I make sensitive use of interesting figure and grain patterns, also complementary and contrasting colouring.
