Zuzana is a ceramicist who works in various techniques, such as slip-casting, hand building and throwing. She uses porcelain and earthenware clay to create objects which are each unique yet compliment one another as a series of works.

Zuzana makes simple shapes which are considered thoroughly by exploring the behaviour of the material she is using. Functionality is one of the key elements of her work. Zuzana is trying to simplify decoration and place the ceramic objects in the contemporary world.The pieces she is making aim to engage the viewer whether by colour, shape or decoration.
