The work references and re-contextualises British manufacturing traditions within design with be-spoke, eccentric individuality. The range of decanters challenge tradition and juxtapose the idea of ornament and utilitarian objects in a witty and intellectual manner. New work is focusing on society and dining rituals fusing tradition with contemporary design and commenting on social interaction today. All work is completely hand crafted and each item is unique. ‘Dilettante Dishes’ is a collaboration of decorative tableware between Romy Westwood & Becky Mackenzie.
